Who am I: My name is Mansi, living and working in Melbourne (Australia), with a lifelong addiction to all things sweet. My love for baking has led me down some unexpected but very rewarding (and delicious) paths.


Where I’ve been: I grew up in the kitchen sandwiched between my grandmother, and my mother. With those two amazing women running through my blood, it was impossible for food to not become the centre of my life. I am not an actual chef, since chefs go to school. Instead, I am a trial and error, self taught, sugar addict who taught herself how to survive in the kitchen. I have been a passionate cook from last 10 years. I used to spend my nights stumbling around the kitchen making the few family recipes I knew by heart. But now, instead of having the same few recipes over and over, I actually develop my own recipes.


Where I’m going: I’m still constantly expanding my horizons, filling myself with inspirations and ideas. I’m always trying new ideas in the kitchen, and experimenting with new ways to capture the perfect image of the results. My creativity is charged by everything around me: cookbooks, chefs I admire, restaurants I visit, the sights and smells as I walk down the street.

  2. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a
    pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% sure.
    Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it
